The Security Training Academy of the Philippines, Inc. (SAPI)

Founded in September 1984, SAPI fully supports the PNP mandate to uphold professionalism and only the highest standards for the industry.

SAPI Basic Courses

Pre-Licensing Training Course (PLTC)

Our PLTC is a mandatory initial training program that arms candidates with the fundamental skills and knowledge required for an efficient security guard role.

Refresher Training Course (RTC)

For the renewal of a security guard or officer's license, this course is expertly designed to update and reinforce a licensed guard’s proficiency in line with current security laws.

In-Service Enhancement Security Training Course (ISESTC)

Similar to the RTC, the compulsory course for the renewal of a security guard or officer's license to augment their basic security training and promote further professional development.

Basic Security Supervisory Course (BSSC)

Upon the completion of the renewal process for a security officer's license, this course cultivates efficient leadership and supervisory abilities in security officers, thereby optimizing their supervisory performance.

Personal Security Protection Course (PSPC)

A prerequisite course for obtaining a license as a Protection Agent. It teaches and hones essential skills and knowledge to provide robust protection for VIPs or Protectees.

Private Detectives / Investigation Course

This course combines basic and modern concepts and techniques indispensable for a Private Detective, forming a comprehensive groundwork for this specialized profession.
